Updated review: Great customer service from Drograce! They were very quick to respond to my post and pointed out the secondary battery on/off switch which I was missing and also offered further service if needed to fix the problem when the switch wasn't the problem. There appears to be a very small on/off switch for the main battery on the right side of the camera just below the USB port, which I wasn't aware was actually a switch, although I saw the on/off label " I saw the USB port cover on it. Make sure this switch is on, otherwise the camera will only turn on when connected to a network. Having two power switches is a bit confusing, but I imagine having this main switch would come in handy for parents who want to disable camera use at certain times. moments or prevent accidental switching on in the pocket I think. As for the quality of the camera, it definitely won't win a photo award, but it's ideal for young children, as it has much better video and image quality than the more well-known ones. Competitor brand here on Amazon. Would definitely be a great Christmas present! Original Review: Just received in the mail. Ordered as a Christmas present for someone and wanted to make sure it worked properly before giving it away. When it arrived it wasn't charged so I plugged it in and the blue light came on to show it was charging. Went back there about 20 minutes later and the blue light went out which I found odd as it hadn't been charged before. Turned it on while still plugged in and the battery indicator was full, so I turned it off and it went off immediately. Won't turn on when unplugged, so the battery is useless. Also, it seems like a good product and I really want to like it, but obviously it doesn't work without a working battery. I've been trying to find a way to contact DROGRACE hoping it's just a lemon, but I can't find a way to contact them directly.
