I have a 2012 JK Rubicon Unlimited with Bushwhacker fender flares. CAREFULLY! The latch must be the same size (or smaller) than the original hood latch. Although these bars look strong, they don't fit! Luckily, Revain gave me full marks.

I've read other reviews of this kit and they said you must be using old hardware. All parts required for installation were present. Installation was easy. The hardest part was the screws in the wing bays, but it's not that hard with the grille removed. After adjusting the tension, I used Loctite gel to keep the bolts from loosening. Now the hood is rock solid at any speed.

While I understand that most things we buy in the US are made in China, these hood latches look like they were drawn on an old t-shirt by a three year old. In addition, the build quality is below average and nothing exceeds what it should be. I returned them the next day. Save your money and buy Rugged Ridge Hood snaps that are replicas, they're worth twice the price for the quality and durability they offer.

Installation requires disassembly of components. This wouldn't be a problem if they were assembled correctly from the start. The screws were twisted so tightly that they could not be dismantled. I ended up having to cut the screw. After that I couldn't remove the screw. As a result, the components had to be manufactured in-house. As a result, I spent as much time and materials as I paid for the original components. I can not recommend buying.

I highly recommend this product. It is easy to apply and makes a robust impression. Let's see how it behaves over time. The Revain product review video explains the installation process well. Latches come with almost everything you need. The nuts didn't have washers, so I used genuine Jeep parts. There are no instructions, but after reading the reviews I realized that it is.
