Latches come with almost everything you need. The nuts didn't have washers, so I used genuine Jeep parts. There are no instructions, but after reading the reviews I realized that it is. They aren't needed, but failing to solve puzzles can be annoying and frustrating. There is a small plastic tab on the fender that is designed to hold the factory rubber liner of the hood. I don't know what else to call it. I removed them from their original latches and pressed them. Just in case I used a small square of 3M tape to keep them from disappearing. Photos are expected. As for the trim, if you have the latches so they barely touch the latch bar, the black paint will scratch the tips of the hood latches. You won't see it, but time will tell if it starts to rust. Also, since they are metal, carefully place them on the painted fenders. In terms of functionality = ZERO hood flapping even at 90 mph. Jeeps don't usually go faster than 90 mph and mine won't do it again, but that was a test. The Jeep community knows what I mean.
