I bought them to make masks. My hands got really tired cutting out the squares with traditional sewing scissors. Reduce my time by 3 times! They are a bit noisy, but that didn't bother me. They cut very well and do not pinch the material. Haven't used them for precise cutting like pattern cutting, haven't practiced that much yet. I cut and then went back and detailed with regular scissors. Another set of knives is for paper and cardboard. My husband cuts our trash cans so these scissors come in handy around our house. I love them and I recommend them.
