Full disclosure, I'm a person who doesn't like brown and black together most of the time, so this might be a problem for me more than anyone else. When I came back to look at the photos, if you look closely you can see the brown color in the picture, so I'm ashamed I didn't notice. Idea. the white velcro stands out against the dark, the lining is not tucked in so you can see the raw edges of the fabric next to the nicely turned seam on the outside. Both materials are heavy, so the strap is very thick. The strap comes out so I just replace it with ribbons. Easy to fix and I think it will be cuter anyway! I'm overall impressed with the other shoes and my daughter is so in love with them she's pissed that I'm keeping one right now instead of letting her wear them.
