I put this set-top box horizontally on a shelf in a TV cabinet, and so it got warm, because there was poor hot air removal, the cooling cooler worked very quickly and was noisy. I installed it vertically on the side of the cabinet and the cooling is normal, the prefix barely rustles with the cooler. So it is not recommended to install the prefix in niches where there will be walls on two / three sides - it will make noise. Better to install in open spaces.
