Review on Hario NEXT Syphon Coffee Silicone by Sandy Vaughn

I have already sold the siphon brew but my old Chinese imitation Hario broke the top chamber and the price of Next has come down a lot in recent years so I bought one. Much, much better. The tapered upper chamber is easier to clean with a spray gun or brush. Basically, the diameter is about an inch wider at the top, so access is better. The handle is made of rubber, which combined with the new shape makes it more comfortable. The glass seems a little thicker than the one I broke, but that could be because it was a cheap fake. In general, the Next looks more modern, not like the one bought at the flea market. The metal filter ($15 if you buy it separately) is a great value. It lets a small amount of solids into the lower chamber if you use a fine grind, so consider buying a Diguo filter if that's a concern. In general, it was necessary to break the old one earlier.
