Received this pump today. Its main purpose is to drain water from my large hot tub. I live in a cold climate so draining my hot tub can be quite a hassle. It worked great! I reached a few inches of water in the hot tub and passed out on my own. My recommendation is to order a drain pump hose that will work with this pump. The only problem was finding a hose that would fit this pump. I ended up buying a $12 25 foot hose with adapters from Home Depot. I would recommend this pump to anyone who needs to pump water quickly. The key to getting the largest volume possible is to use the largest diameter tubing possible. I bought the largest pump. This is something I will definitely buy again. It's easy to use and very effective
