I had trouble finding slipcovers for dining room chairs with large seats. I couldn't find a way to remove and reupholster the seat, the seat itself was flush with the back of the chair so I couldn't just throw something over the chair cushion and this seat cover was the only option. I tried. At first I thought it looked a bit awkward with the stripe on the back. The chairs are vanilla and the seat covers I ordered are navy blue. However, once I stopped staring at the seat covers and just surveyed the entire dining room, they were no longer noticeable as stripes. It all looked great and visitors can see that - the whole room looks great!
