Review on 🧳 Efficiently Monitor Luggage Weight with AmazonBasics Portable Digital Scale by Sarah Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, small and light enough for travel

If you hit weight restrictions on a regular basis, this is what you need. Now, instead of having my partner build a system for weighing suitcases on the bathroom scale, I just have him use it to lift the suitcase! It's ten times easier and we can do it while traveling and we don't have a scale. It's a win/win. He will keep my souvenir shopping under control and we don't have to worry about excess baggage fees. You must be strong enough; Basically, you wrap the strap around the handle of the weight you're weighing, then lift it straight up a few inches until the case lifts off the floor and hangs on the strap. I've found I can pull about 50 pounds with no problem and I'd say I have average strength for a woman in her 30s. However, shorter people may find it harder to lift large suitcases high enough - I lift those Weights usually about chest high to lift a large suitcase off the floor and I'm 5ft 10" tall. If I were a few inches shorter I would probably want to be standing on a step or ladder to make the climb more efficient. I've had this scale for a few years now and am still happy with its accuracy. FYI it uses large watch batteries but I don't think we've had to replace it yet.
