I was disappointed at first but when I contacted the buyer to find out how it worked it sold out in seconds! Google likes a video on how to put this together, it really helps. Basically you have to put the pieces together and then hit until it clicks, which will secure it so your iPad doesn't fall off! If you have any problems, contact them - it helped. I still believe it should come with instructions!

Great for travel, durable and easy to assemble. I've read that many people didn't mention instructions, but mine did. It is convenient for me to put it in front of a sofa or bed. Holds my iPad well which bothered me at first but not anymore. The springs for this are very strong and taut. I have to say it was perfect for what was needed and the price was great.

For a long time I was unable to properly install the iPad holder on the tripod without it falling off . Be sure to watch the video on how to properly clamp the iPad holder onto the tripod head to ensure a secure fit. It takes a little effort to get a click. Judging by the photos and even the box, this should be a tight knot but it isn't. No tube supports or guides have been used in the telescoping tubes, the longer you extend the stand the more it wobbles as the inner tubes are not fully supported except for the tube rings. Also, the legs of the tripod must be opened to a very small and defined "best point" or the tripod will hit the center tube, further increasing the wobble as only two of the three legs are touching the ground. Easy assembly. Very strong and stable. This is the best option when it comes to protecting your iPad and positioning it with precision. I installed my iPad on it and use it in my living room to stream and record videos. I'm not worried about the apple case as the mount is very large and holds my iPad with the apple case perfectly.

The main reason for my unfavorable rating is that I have a fairly standard tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab) and it's relatively comfortable, but I couldn't keep the tablet sitting securely in the event of a fall. This is a good little tripod for indoor use. Unfortunately, there is no way to adjust the bottom of the tripod for outdoor use on uneven ground. There were no instructions and it took me a while to figure out how to attach the I-Pad to the mount. When I found out, it was safe. This is a good iPad stand at a very competitive price compared to others at Revain. It's lightweight, especially compared to the iPad mic stand I used, but I needed something more portable. The light weight means it's not as strong as a heavy mic stand, but it doesn't wobble during use (as long as you don't touch it).
