I use to have a towel robe, but its so thick and takes up too much space in my dive bag. This microfiber robe rolls up to a tight compact roll and doesnt take up as much space. Its spacious underneath to change into dry cloths. I am petite so it goes past my knees. Its easy for me to get my arms in and out of the armholes. At first i was disappointed because the screw was too big (3/4"?) to fit on my camera (1/4-20). I was bummed because this product is so heavy duty and awesome and i would not be able to use it. I purchased to use with my elderly mother after bringing her home from the hospital. She was very weak, and I wanted to be sure I could hear her in another room if she needed something. What I liked most is that it is light weight and so easy for her to ring. The bell was fairly loud, but not quite as loud as I would have liked.
