I purchased to use with my elderly mother after bringing her home from the hospital. She was very weak, and I wanted to be sure I could hear her in another room if she needed something. What I liked most is that it is light weight and so easy for her to ring. The bell was fairly loud, but not quite as loud as I would have liked. However, that probably had to do with the light weight which we needed. It has served a very useful purpose for us.

Yes, this is an inexpensive cheaply-made bell. The ringer part even extends below the edge of the bell, which means you have to put in effort to position it properly. Not much to say except we got this and a mat the chimes when my elderly mom gets off the bed. She is supposed to used to bell if she needs assistance and if she does not the mat will sound off. She has fallen a couple of times. It came as expected and on time. Thank you.

I bought this as a caretaker bell for my grandpa to use on the other side of the house to let our family know if he needs anything and it works most of the time but isn't loud enough to be heard if the washer/dryer is on or the tv or something like that.

Cheap quality . Delivered in a bag ,,cheap. Fir the price I bought one at Walmart for half the cost with free deliver not 6.00 and heavy duty and loud. Just what I needed. Wouldn't recommend this particular product.

I bought this bell for my classroom and it works as expected. It's a fine bell. I have since upgraded to a digital doorbell, but if you are looking for a simple handheld bell- this does the trick.

We use this for all feral cats that we are acclimating to newborns or new homes. we start using this during the acclamation. Every time they get a meal and then when they are released, when the bell is ring they know it's time for food!
