Smart Look Radio

The only problem I see is that the tuning knob is sloppy when changing direction. Fix it and it's 10/10. It looks like they put a lot of thought into design and production. The speaker grille is made of beautiful black metal and fits perfectly on the right panel. The dial is 4 inches long, which is twice the length of other radios. I just measured the dial on my CCRadioEP and it is 3.5 inches. The longer the scale, the better the resolution for tuning. The power cord automatically disconnects the batteries when plugged in. When powered from AC it doesn't seem to add any noise to AM stations. Mono headphone jack for both ears. The case is 8.25 inches wide, 6 inches high and 2.5 inches deep. The speaker measures 3 inches when measured inside - larger when measured outside. Update: Fixed sloppy setup by pulling the handle, removing and pasting some pipe thread tape. Anything would work, including a piece of paper. Brought to the park in the afternoon along with Sony ICF-36 and Tecsun PL-680. It equaled or surpassed these radios on AM for long-distance reception of stations. I had trouble getting 650 AM Nashville last night so I tried about eight radios and the TR604 was the best.

Pros
  • Large and clear dial and large dial; not only is it easy to identify the dial pointer and scale; but it's also easy to tune to the station you want; The table radio has a good range of stations and sensitivity
Cons
  • I doubt it
