Review on 🌿 Zaffré Alcohol-Free Natural Deodorant with Aluminum Alternative by Brittany Howard

After a few years of my husband asking me to switch to an aluminum-free hippie deodorant (I've been using Secret Invisible Solid for 10 years), I ordered this product. The first thing that struck me is that it's HARD! 3.65 oz is very generous for a deodorant. Zaffre is dense, slightly firm and has the consistency of a bar of soap. Haven't tried heating it with a hair dryer yet, but that seems like good advice. So if I applied it with too much pressure, it scratched the skin. Now I apply it gently and after a few passes over the skin it starts to warm up and spread more evenly. I ordered it in Whisper White, which smells like tea tree oil and mint. The scent is not overpowering but I can smell it all day. But it smells fresh, not BO, even after a long day at work, lots of coffee and then CrossFit! After trying so many different deodorants throughout my teenage and teenage years, all with disappointing results, I never thought I could find a product, let alone a natural one, that would work for my smelly armpits. But between being (hopefully) healthier and definitely eliminating my BO, despite the $15 price tag, I'm very happy with it! I will order it again and next time I will use a different scent, maybe a little more feminine.
