Foot Base and Pads

I used my ability to preserve anal ability and installed the foot pads to my liking. First, with a clean cloth dampened with 91% isopropyl alcohol, I wiped the corners of the base where the pads are. are glued to ensure a good hold of the pads. Second, I glued (aligning the edges of the base neatly) the now dry corners to act as guides for placing the pads; This sort of caused the pads to "align themselves with the world" - and with each other - so to speak. Third, I firmly pressed the pads into place and then removed the tapes. Ready. dark side obvious that the pads should be the matte side (the glossy side is attractive and meant to be seen), but I was strongly tempted to go the other route; A glossy (seemingly smoother) side could give the pads a better "grip". Depending on how low the TV is in relation to the base and where the viewers' eye level and distance is, viewers will see a reflection of the base of what the TV is showing. We don't want it to be a distraction now do we? At this point I made sure that the height of my TV and the position of the viewers would not have this problem. Then shiny side up, at least for me. Good luck with your build! I made sure that the height of my TV and the position of the viewers do not cause this problem. Then shiny side up, at least for me. Good luck with your build!
