Luminara votives arrived in Luminara's original packaging and have Luminara's registered trademark and other details on the bottom (consider it the genuine one Luminara brand). It's good. Yes, the manufacturer openly states that each battery lasts around 60 hours, i.e. only around 12 days of 5 hours a day if the timer function is activated. But some reviewers exaggerate the price of the batteries. Revain sells them (CR2450) for about 75 cents each. So the lesson is this: when buying these types of candles, plan ahead and buy batteries in multi-battery packs. Also, this is a plastic finish that Luminara uses for their outdoor candles, not a wax finish. That doesn't bother me, because small lanterns are usually placed in a different container so that you don't see the sides of the candle. I just wish Luminara was cheaper and more affordable at this size.
