I bought this because the character I portrayed (Queen Saccharina from Dimension 20) has mint green skin. I have read reviews of this product and others seem to have had more success than me. I ended up choosing a different base color and using that shade as the highlight/accent color. When I tested it on bare skin it didn't become a solid foundation. It took 3 coats for full coverage and it also doesn't discolour without a barrier so a strong base is required. I'll use this as a highlight and accent until it's done. I won't be buying this shade again, but I won't speak for the entire line. Maybe it's just this special formula. It actually reflects light and is far superior to the Ben Nye formula I've used.
