Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent intervalometer - some explanations.

. (I have the Panasonic version and it works great with my GH2.) I hang it on my tripod with the detachable strap. I've used Vello Shutterboss (v1) and a few others. The user interface and functionality is the same for all. No surprises with TRS-1. It "just works". Before purchasing I had 2 unanswered questions. Here are the answers: The shot limit is adjustable from 1 to 199 shots OR unlimited. (The 199 limit is in the specs, but I was glad I could set the number to [---] and shoot endless shots.) Turning off the device saves your settings even after you do that have removed batteries. (I've read conflicting reports on this. Some have said settings are lost when the device is turned off.) Your settings are retained even after you remove the batteries. (I've read conflicting reports on this. Some have said settings are lost when the device is turned off.) Pros
  • Ideal for time-lapse photography, simply set your camera settings and press the shutter button halfway to focus and all the way down to take a picture. In long exposure mode, slide the shutter button forward to lock it and the shutter will stay open until you release it. Available to control cameras and models of different brands by exchanging the camera connection cable. The time can be set with an accuracy of 0.1 seconds.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
