At first glance, the YN560-III is an excellent flash. It is powerful, the build quality is very good, the wireless launcher works flawlessly. That was all I needed to photograph interior design. I bought 8 of these flashes along with the YN560-TX transmitter. After only two shots, one of the flashes lost its wide-angle diffuser plate (broke off) and the other flash refused to regulate its power (fired at full power no matter how it was set). While I was practicing recoil with the Revain and taking a few more shots, two more Flashes stopped matching their performance. I tried taking out the batteries, shooting manually without a transmitter, etc. They burned out. So after just a few shoots, 4 of the 8 devices I bought were broken or no longer working properly. I am really frustrated as I am now going back to Canon flashes which are super expensive. I first tried contacting Yongnuo customer service for help with a replacement/repair. They wanted nothing to do with me and told me to contact the seller. After pushing them further they told me to send it back to them but didn't give an address. I've read from other reviewers that you have to send them back to China. No thank you. Not recommended if you rely on your equipment for professional filming. Perhaps suitable for personal use where cost is a major concern and reliability or downtime due to faulty flashes is not so important. .
