But great docking station.

Warning: This device will not charge Alienware laptops. Not due to a fault or defect in the goods. I have confirmed to Alienware that the USB-C port on their laptops does not support charging and that you can only charge them using the Alienware power adapter/charger that came with them. Other than that it's a great product and does everything it says on the tin (except for the above, but the description says it's not compatible with charging on some models including Dell. Dell is an Alienware manufacturer). My Alienware laptop is connected to this device using the included USB-C cable. This device cuts so much clutter. It is currently connected to two 4k monitors, a webcam, a keyboard, a mouse pad, headphones, a printer, a microphone, a cooling pad and two USB flash drives. It's in a fairly small form factor, looks well built, is lightweight and doesn't get hot or make any noise. There's a small green LED on the front to show it's on. Installation was quick and easy as no drivers or software were required. plug and play Transmission speed as well as video and audio quality are not a problem. I didn't hear any echo on my mic when you set up your computer to speak into your headphones. That alone is huge, although I don't know why. If I want to take my laptop with me now, I only need 2 plugs. My power adapter (due to what I mentioned in the beginning) and USB-C cable connected to this device. For users who have a computer with a USB-C port that supports charging, this device does everything it says on the tin and does a great job.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not all will fit
