I never thought how bad it would hurt a problematic scalp just to change the shampoo. I was so used to buying Pantene and Polite that I bought it in the store — little did I know that Polite literally dried my scalp to the point where it flaked without irritation. For decades I thought my problems were dandruff related, I even went to several dermatologists who said it was the result of "stress" and they prescribed remedies that never got rid of the problem. AFTER ALL. it was just an allergy to cheap shampoos! Since I don't know WHAT exactly I'm allergic to, it could be the scent, who knows? But what I do know for sure is that Free & Clear is the only shampoo that has literally brought my scalp back to life. The difference is so incredible that I want to start preaching about it. At first you might think your hair isn't as "clean" as it is with store-bought products, but that's only because you're just not used to using something so simple and chemical-free. It feels natural to me and will continue to use it to keep my scalp itchy and flaky free.
