My wife is a professional singer and it's easy to get sound (Zoom H4N) and the current video quality on the iPhone is fantastic, we just didn't have a chance to mount it on a tripod. We grabbed a few of these and then used the FiLMiC Pro app to manually set the quality, exposure and focus and it worked perfectly for our needs. I tend to tinker with things and I can say it's quite difficult. All the necessary parts are metal and the plastic feels solid. Size wise we both have an iPhone 7 with cases and they fit in easily but I'm not sure the 7+ will fit but I hope so. If I upgrade to a larger model in the future I will update this review.
