I shoot handmade greeting cards against a flat background and needed something to steady my Pixel phone for these shots. The adapter works great on my small tripod and holds the phone firmly. Very happy with this product and good price.

I like that it has a screw terminal instead of a spring. Exactly what I wanted to make sure my $1400 phone wouldn't slip out. I feel like I can trust that more. Has a standard tripod mount. It will stand on a hard surface like a table, which I like too. Also, it has 360 degree rotation, unlike others that tilt left or right. Thus, it maintains the center of gravity.

I was wary of this product because it's plastic and I'm clumsy so I was afraid the tripod would fall and the adapter bracket would chip, tear or break apart. Fortunately, the product is research. It's made of durable plastic, so be careful if you drop it on a hard surface. I recommend leaving it on a tripod or storing it carefully in a bad camera in a separate bag or storing it in a separate box or on a shelf. I use one to hold it on my large quick release tripod and the other with my mini tripod. There are two on the clamp itself and a third on the included bracket. The clip is plastic but looks very solid and is well reinforced at the attachment points. I use it every day at work. It is durable and stable. I use it with the lightweight Pedco UltraPod Pedco UltraPod camera tripod that I have owned for over 20 years. The combination of UltraPod and this phone mount works great. I removed the 90° mount from the mount and never used it - I usually mount the phone mount directly to the UltraPod using the middle mounting point.
