I was looking at some expensive phone tripod mounts as well as separate remote controls that would allow me to take photos with a phone I could be in (no 'selfie' look). When I stumbled across this great value set I was skeptical about the quality as it was almost half the price of the other options. I decided to give it a try and I couldn't be happier. The mount works great on a tripod and even stands up on its own when placed on a flat surface. I like that the clamp is adjusted with a rotary knob rather than a stiff spring pushing down with force. This fits perfectly on my Galaxy S9 with the Otterbox Defender case and is very easy to set up. The remote connected easily to my phone and worked great. I have recommended this product to friends and I am happy with my purchase.
