UPDATE DECEMBER 9, 2018: It seems to be less than a year since I bought my TEWELL speaker and also another Echo Show, new, model #2. So I have my original one Show and moved my speaker to the living room and bought a second TEWELL speaker for the new Echo Show-2 and I have to say I love it as much as the first speaker! While the new Show-2 has improved the sound, I'm still hard of hearing (HOH) and this new TEWELL speaker helps me hear clearer and louder than the show can put out. Also, I can set up the show in part of my bedroom and a TEWELL speaker next to the bathroom to ensure I hear what I hear wherever I am! Well done guys from TEWELL! Well done! FIRST REVIEW: I spent a few weeks researching which Bluetooth speaker would be best for me with the Echo Show. I didn't want a portable one, I wanted one that I could easily carry from my bedroom to my bathroom: I love listening to NPR while I shave! The RetroRock description said nothing about the Echo Show, but there were positive reviews for Dot. I took a chance and ordered it. When it arrived I tried setting it up with Echo Show and couldn't get it to work. I was annoyed. I emailed the guys at Tewell to complain. Then I found out in the Revain help that the show had its own settings and you had to swipe the screen down to get there and set up Bluetooth! I did exactly that and it was up and running in less than a minute! So, besides that little bit of information, you need to know two things: First, this is the best little speaker I've ever had! I can't hear well (HOH). I hate wearing hearing aids at home, so I turn up the speakers. But with the Echo Show, it didn't always get clearer, just louder. With the RetroRock, I just flip a switch and the Bluetooth turns on in a few seconds, and it's not only louder, it's a lot clearer than the Echo Show speakers. For me with my HOH the purity of the frequencies makes this an amazing speaker! Another thing to know is how good the Tewell support is. Unbelievable. I wasn't even asked to go through the setup procedure, just offered to send a brand new one for free! It blew my socks off! I can really recommend this little speaker without reservation!
