Review on PUR Reduction Replacement Filter - Certified Replacements for Optimal Water Purification by Todd Vesci

I have been using the Pur 18-cup jug for 10 years now. I'm a medical student and have had apartments most of my time, so I needed a safe and effective water filter to take with me on the go. These lead filters work just as well as regular pitcher filters and I have used lead filters for several years. I can't tell you what the point of water filters is. Whether you use a water filter or tap directly (both are safe and clean), you save yourself and our planet from waste and money. I have never had a bad Pur filter and my jug is still in good condition. Considering how cheap they are when you count the money, this product is a great deal. Pur has partnered with Terracycle, which means you can recycle the filters when you're done. They have a free program (check the company's packaging and websites) but I switched to a Terracycle Zero Waste Box (specifically plastic) a while ago to make things easier. I highly recommend this product, this brand and this concept.
