I read the other reviews before purchasing and found the same issues and benefits. I installed a 34" UW monitor on it and it ended up standing up well and could swivel to a vertical position (floating above the board). Problems identified were the as-received connections being too tight or too loose. In particular, the swivel at the base is a rivet that is so tight that turning the lever left or right moves the clip along the board to which it is attached. You will need to disassemble the clip and then use large pliers a few times to loosen the connection. The screw holding the two cone washers for forward or upward tilt was not holding well or was loose. tightened and it worked much better. As others have pointed out, the idle screw is too loose in the middle of the arm, and tightening it counterclockwise takes quite a bit of force from what I recall. Rotating to the vertical position +90 or -90 degrees The disk was not very tight when rotated. I had to take it apart and use a lot of force with large pliers to loosen it enough, which was a little crumpled up by the angled sides. Moral of the story: read the reviews and make adjustments before you build it so you don't have to take it apart and rebuild it.
