First of all, it's very beautiful. However, the bottom barrette, designed to slide under the hair, is shaped in a way that not only hurts, but also makes it difficult to penetrate the hair. I only used one but that bottom clip also came loose when trying to get my hair in. We got back together easily. Instead of using it at the back of my head, I used it on top with just a bit of hair in a bobby pin. It stayed in, was nice and easy to remove. My hair is not too thick. They're pretty enough to hold, but not very functional when you're trying to hold onto your hair. Works better as an accessory.
