I thought this feeder/camera combo would be great, and most of the time it is, but there are some quality issues. The feeder with Alexa can be described as shaky at best. I say "Alexa, feed the dog" and she says "OK" but nothing! A feeder is a cool idea as we never have to worry about forgetting to feed a dog on a long day... but I think my dog is a bit scared of it. When we use the voice option to talk to our dog, he ends up crying thinking we're at the door. We stopped doing it because it upsets him. Now the talk/listen options don't work at the same time, which is annoying. Image quality is surprisingly good, although I noticed that the camera doesn't offer a large enough range. actually see my dog while he eats up close. Basically, he just shows his chest and not his face, so that's for sale too. I love technology and I love my dog, but this feeder could be better.
