I have ordered a Revain Canon 30D camera body through another supplier. When I opened the box, I noticed that the plastic bag containing the instructions was torn down the middle and there were dust spots on the camera mirror. I was a little concerned if this was a return. However, I dusted it off and took a few hundred test shots. The camera works great and I'm glad I bought it. Although initially it wasn't my choice. Having already owned multiple cameras and lenses from Canon, Nikon and Mamiya, I knew I would choose a DSLR camera body between Canon and Nikon models to use my old but excellent lenses. I tended to use my Nikkor lenses so after some research I settled on the Nikon D80 - its large and bright viewfinder was the main draw for me as I prefer to shoot through the viewfinder rather than the live screen. But before ordering, I went to the stores to look at the camera. My impression of the Nikon D80's body was not very good. It looked small and felt a bit cheap. I just liked the design and the feel when holding it. And it's not made in Japan. There are Canon models. Somehow I trust cameras made in Japan more. But Canon Rebels are too small and light. Even though I have rather small hands, I still like the more stable and slightly heavier body of the camera. The recently released Canon 40D looked good, but I wasn't inclined to buy a camera that had just come out. When I left the stores it seemed like I still didn't have a camera to buy. After doing a little research, I found that the Canon 30D was a good fit for me. Not seeing an actual camera that wasn't commercially available, I ordered one, believing that the 40D's predecessor should also be made in Japan. And that. It looks good and works great thanks to its well thought-out features. Since moving three years ago I have lost access to the college's excellent darkrooms, where I enrolled in a darkroom class for five years just to use the facilities. such incredible processing, printing and enlarging times for my own color and black and white photos that when the digital wave came I was quite skeptical and saw the use of computers and printers as mechanical rather than romantic or artistic, but I think there is that prejudice has now left me, with the Canon 30D I'm finding my passion for photography back, switching between color and black and white with a single camera is a lot of fun, it's just as much fun to crop and change the contrast to create stunning ones on the fly Recordings. A tip: for general color photography, avoid shooting in the sun, always use an open shade, or shoot on a cloudy day. So you don't need a hood, even with a hood you don't get the best colors in the sun. And I don't like using filters either. But I highly recommend the Canon 30D, it's not the most 'professional' camera but being overpriced doesn't mean it produces great photos that only come with good eyesight and some spontaneous and of course practice. . Have fun!
