This is exactly what I need for my 1998 Nissan Frontier. XL Fits like new. Just remember to disconnect the battery and move it to the back of the car. I managed to do this by loosening the battery retainers and sliding the battery back 1/2 inch. I wore disposable gloves while working near the battery. Use a 10mm jack and you can remove the old one and install the new one. Then reinsert the battery and tighten the fasteners. The hardest part is getting the supports back in place. If you must remove the battery, disconnect it according to the safety procedures in the user manual. So this device fits perfectly and was delivered to me neatly and quickly.
