I love the tablecloth moment! I must have saved at least 15 60 inch round fabrics for my small dinner service, plus some long rectangular fabrics that I used for holiday dinners and parties. I chose the skinny vinyl option because family members always come with takeaways or I sometimes invite my parents over for brunch or dinner when eating out at restaurants isn't the best idea, especially for my elderly parents. What will always happen is that the grease from the food or sauce or drink box ends up on my tablecloth and I have to pretreat the stains and wash the tablecloth. I'm tired of this. look at my photo I thought it would look cheap and rough, like old vinyl tablecloths from the past, but it doesn't. If it weren't adjusted and hung so you could get a glimpse of the flannel underneath, it WOULD look super cheap, but the fact that it fits smoothly on the table is important. I see lighter days ahead. While I still love the tablecloth moment and have no intention of giving up my beautiful tablecloths, I think I'll save them for special occasions and use thick vinyl for everyday chilling at family dinners. FYI: I put mine in the dryer for 4 minutes to smooth out the wrinkles first.
