Review on 👞 DARCO ORTHOWEDGE Post Op Shoe, Medium: Enhanced Recovery and Comfort for Post-Operation Support by Ken Booker

This shoe shifts most of the body weight to the heel, then the big toe and the inside of the arch. I bought this shoe to help with recovery from a fracture of the 5th metatarsal (near the top of the bone / about 2 inches below the pinky toe). I used a crutch and after 2 weeks I felt sick. These shoes made it easy for me to walk around the house. My doctor said as long as I don't walk much I can now (2 weeks post injury) use these shoes instead of crutches. Please note that I am a young non-smoker and my recovery is faster than someone older than me or a smoker. These shoes should not replace crutches unless your doctor tells you to. But it's really fantastic work shifting my weight and healing the bones in the upper/outer part of the foot. I would not recommend using this shoe for any other part of the foot.
