Bought a new computer with 2 HDMI ports. I was excited because I thought it would make it easier to set up my dual monitor setup. It was simple and worked great until I ran into an issue with Lightroom (photo editing). It turned out that one HDMI port was connected to my graphics card and the other HDMI port was connected to my processor (integrated graphics). Lightroom requires both monitors to work with the same card, so I needed a new solution. Since my graphics card had multiple DisplayPort connectors, I simply used this cable to connect to the HDMI ports on both of my monitors. Works perfectly! I recommend.
