I would easily give this keyboard 5+ stars if the instructions weren't so bad. I spent 3 hours trying to get this thing to work with my 8th gen iPad the day I got it. It connects fine and is recognized by the iPad, but doesn't print at all. I've spent a lot of time searching the internet for similar problems and solutions, but none of them worked. I have several other Bluetooth keyboards that connect well and just work, so this wasn't an iPad issue. The next morning I got ready to contact support and go through the instructions on the link or email address. I still haven't found that, but I did find a cryptic claim about switching the keyboard between wired and bluetooth modes. I pressed Function-r and the keyboard was able to type. Mind you, this one has already been connected via Bluetooth. Why can you turn on Bluetooth, connect, and this keyboard doesn't automatically switch from wired to Bluetooth? Poor firmware design and terribly cryptic instructions. Or I suppose you can connect this keyboard to two different targets (like PC/Mac and iPad) via USB and Bluetooth and switch between them. It can even be very helpful. Haven't tried it yet. More detailed instructions would not have made this a problem at first. If the switch was intentional, it should be better explained to avoid that frustration and even demonstrate its versatility. As for the keyboard (once it works properly) I like it. It's a little work of art and looks more like a typewriter keyboard than my other steampunk wired keyboard. However, as with all such typewriter keyboards, you must be motivated to use it as it differs from a typical computer keyboard. My 10.2 inch iPad 8th Gen will not fit this keyboard when it's armored. never mind, I already have different stands that suit me and one that even goes well with this keyboard.
