Short term in terms of heating, cooling and air quality

I bought this for work because I work at the Network Operations Center which has cold air all year round. My nose is always dry and my allergies are activated. It worked for maybe a week and then stopped. It comes with no instructions and I can't find a way to find replacement filters even though they still work.
