I don't have a swimming pool but I bought them to decorate my house and garden. It comes with two remotes, which is handy for my purposes as I can leave one remote inside and the other outside. It is very easy to sync the balls on the remote that you want to use with each other. When not in use for swimming in the pool, one side of the ball is slightly flattened to allow them to rest on a hard surface and it has a built in small hook on this flat side making it easy to tie and for decoration to hang up . excellent against moisture. The only downside I have is that despite the timer setting, I had to change batteries quite often. They came with a few extra batteries, but you should definitely stock up on them because you'll love them so much you'll use them all the time, whether you want to add a little flair. Your set up for entertainment or even just for the ambiance of being home alone. Try them in your garden to light up your path at night. I put one in a large boar skull I have and it's really great when it glows from the inside!
