Review on Butora Brava Black Knit Size Boys' Shoes by Daniel Pyfer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

3-4 sizes too small, too narrow!

Great, comfortable climbing shoes for children BUT narrow and incredibly small (3-4 sizes smaller than street shoes). Daughter wears 13.5-1 in sneakers, ordered size 3 for her but still too small so ordered size 4. These shoes are insanely tight too! Another daughter wears size 2 sneakers, ordered size 5 and they barely fit (hoping to stretch). The delivery was great, the material of the shoe is soft and of good quality. There doesn't seem to be anything bigger than a youth size 5. I wish they had larger youth sizes and wide width options as the shoes are 3-4 sizes too small! I don't think the people making these climbing shoes have children or understand how the width/size of children's feet varies. They seem to make youth shoes with the same mindset as adult climbers. Please be more kid friendly, this will make life easier for parents who are struggling to find comfortable climbing shoes for their kids so we don't have to hear them whining because their feet are being squeezed into tight shoes!

Pros
  • Easy to put on and take off thanks to the practical Velcro system.
Cons
  • May not provide enough breathability for comfortable wearing.
