Review on 🔥 Lasko 5309 Digital Oscillating Tower Heater: Efficient Comfort with Electronic Controls by Tiffany Santos

Additional heating.

I bought this little device (for a friend) during those transition days between fall and winter/winter and spring months. .You know that time (in temperature controlled homes) before the apartment complex either turns on the heat leading into the winter months or after the heat has been turned off in the spring and it's still not warm enough outside so your space is still there gets a little chilly. I have to say I have a larger Lasko heater which I use in my home in the same way so I am familiar with the excellent build quality. This unit is no different. It's lightweight yet seems durable. It is well made with high quality materials and has a very nice design that blends in well with the decor of the room. Performance: This device is very easy to use as it comes with clear instructions and simple button mechanics. It has a range of temperature settings that can be easily adjusted with the push of a button. *However, I was a little underwhelmed by the performance for a number of reasons: 1) The fan element was weaker than I expected and was not moving heat. around the room as I imagined. [I replaced a small heater (which still worked) but lost the oscillation function after many years and yet it worked much better than this brand new Lasko unit.] 2) Oscillation is very limited which also limits the unit's footprint compromised in will eventually heat up. and 3) Either the fan or the swinging mechanism makes a slight clicking noise from time to time, which disrupts the overall quiet operation of the device. [I hate repackaging and shipping items. I just do it :o/] Recommendation: Don't get me wrong, the heat it gives off is very good and helps to warm the area. But it would be better if you thought of it as a "personal space” heater rather than a "living space” heater. If you want to heat something other than a small space, consider purchasing a larger "tower" unit. If you're ok with the performance issues I pointed out, maybe this little module will work for you.
