Wanted to make a quick and easy Arrietty Halloween costume and thought I'd given up on this dress. Until I tried it on. I'm 5'10" and admittedly a bit longer in the torso (t-shirts may or may not show my stomach by an inch if I'm pulled very high, depending on the cut), but I wasn't expecting the dress to be in the Gathered waist. hitting me in the middle of the chest. It was too high for my natural waist and too low for a deliberate waist cut. Hit me in a very awkward spot and just made me look pregnant. The material of the dress was lovely and comfortable and wasn't see through or anything where it stretched and the length of the skirt wasn't actually that bad. Just not a flattering dress for us taller girls.
