I am a mother of 5 daughters, all have shoulder length hair or longer and they love hair ties. They are well made of thick velvet fabric. They were shipped in a plastic bag and contained several smaller ziplock plastic bags and a sample of hair ties. The elastic is quite strong, the stitching is excellent. I couldn't find any manufacturing defects. It is important to know that these are oversized hair ties. My teenage daughters with thick hair have to wrap it 3 times to keep it inside and I can use it as a headband. If that's what you want (6 inches of velvet wrapped around your pony), this is the way to get it. They are well made and beautiful.
