Bought as a content storage for a laptop, movies and music, a couple of simple portable games. Connected a couple of times a week, or even less often. Nothing, as they say, did not portend trouble. True, once there was an alarming bell, 8-9 months after the purchase, - it refused to be detected in the system, while clicking cheerfully. Reconnecting did not give anything and was left alone for several hours, after which it worked again, which led to calm. But one day, when copying movies, it just simply hung up, after which it finally stopped responding, while it was visible in the device manager. It's good that there was nothing important on the disk. There is no more trust in Seagate. So far, a working 10-year-old Hitachi with 500 GB, with which there has never been a problem, is back in service.
