I ordered these in the hope that I could wear them as long underwear - under ski clothes. It's more like sweatpants, the kind of bulky ones you buy at Walmart. They are bulky, making them difficult to place under clothing. I was still able to do it, but not as comfortably due to the large volume - I had to snuggle them up for most of the day. If you only wear them as clothing, you don't have this problem. I'm 5.5" - 150 lbs in good shape - ordered a medium shirt which fits well but is a little tight and oversized pants which are really big on me. I would advise getting the battery as small as possible to buy as it should fit in your pocket and you need a battery for each garment (top and bottom) as the cords are short and on opposite sides I ended up with a USB extension cord and a 2 output battery pack ordered so you can hook it up to a battery pack, I'm hoping this takes the stress out of carrying 2 batteries under my ski gear which generally keeps warm where the heating elements are.
