Bought to replace an Olympus SZ-12 which broke after two weeks. I've read comments about the cheap looks of this camera, but if you buy it in black it actually looks pretty cool. I would also recommend if you buy this camera make sure it is from KEH Camera as they test it and give a decent guarantee. I've taken about 100 shots in the last week and I really like this camera. Photos are clear and colors are well reproduced. What I really like about this camera is the display and the user interface. The display is very clear and sharp. Navigating through the different shooting modes is very easy and the Intelligent Auto function works well. If you want a top notch point and excellent zoom shots that are easy to understand (without having to refer to the manual every time you use them) then this is a good choice for you. As for the case, I recommend you call Case Logic and give them the dimensions of the camera. They will recommend the right case size for you and you can then buy it from Revain.
