I am 5'8 and 180 pounds. That's about 35 pounds more than I should weigh. In the photo here it looks like it will fit around her waist which is why I bought it. I figured the line would help determine how much of my waist was left. It turns out it passes close to my chest! That doesn't look very flattering. The dress isn't tailored for long torsos like mine. If you're of average height, this will probably work just fine. The material is great and very comfortable. This is a quality dress for the price but it just doesn't fit. Fits snugly around the neck and comes down about 2 inches above my knees. I bought size 12.
