Good replacement for a deceased LG pf1500

My 2 year old LG Smart LED Projector died due to what I suspect a slight power surge I decided to buy this projector from Epson. I've had good experiences with other Epson printers in the past and they seem to be among the market leaders. So far we are very happy with them. Pros: - picture quality and brightness - warranty period - solid build quality (Made in the Philippines) - somewhat subjective but still important to me. - Easy setup and customization. - low noise level in economy mode. . In the brighter mode, this is more noticeable with quiet films, but is still not disturbing. Cons: - A bit expensive. - bulkier than our old projector - had to replace the bracket with a stronger one. - Problems turning off the projector with the 4K remote control. - activate without problems. There may be a problem with the fire stick. - The manual is online so keep the device handy during installation as a manual is required to navigate the menus and setup. - Expected lamp life. ) with an Epson mount, which is sold separately for about $100. Very strong bracket, by the way, easy to assemble. So that the fate of the first projector doesn't repeat itself, I installed a surge protection socket (Leviton) in the ceiling. This avoids the ugly looking surge protector - it took about 1.5 hours or so to install. Includes installation of a new mount and frame and image adjustment. Screen 110 inches. Install the projector about 12-13 feet from the screen. - Usable with Fire Stick 4K, but a small shutdown issue with the Fire Stick remote. - Set economy mode. Overall very happy with the purchase and the experience. highlighted.
