Review on Meze 99 Classics Walnut Gold - Over-Ear Headphones with Mic 🎧 and Self-Adjustable Headband - Classic Wooden Closed-Back Headset for Audiophiles - Wired by Aayushi Srivastva ᠌

I don't see the good quality, it's nothing but downsides.

Uncertain headphones. On the one hand, although having a resistance of 32 ohms, they sound quite average on portable devices, barely differentiating themselves from alternatives that are even half the price. Moreover, the headphones slip down while walking and the headband is really unpleasant. Not very suited for a portable. They sound like a four when played over a good amplifier, but given their price and compact-portable design, I don't understand why you should buy them instead of some good open DT-990s, which are more affordable, sound better, and have the right shape for home headphones. If we compare the case to its peers, the identical Custom One has real leather and a significantly better internal assembly for less money, albeit having a worse sound. By the way, a plastic eye opens up beneath the nightmare dermantine ear pads, revealing the driver. Hence, grandeur and great price are merely on the surface. Friends, generally speaking, avoid falling for fake reviews. It seems unlikely that a week-old, obscure Romanian office could produce headphones more effectively and affordably than well-established, reputable producers. I now feel bad about being seduced. money down the toilet, or rather, into the pockets of crafty and entrepreneur Romanians, is what I'm trying to imply. As the Custom One Pro offers a basic and slightly harsh sound, I'm back to seeking for something on the portable as I continue to listen to the same 990s at home.

Pros
  • Strong workmanship and reliable wooden cups. includes a backup cable and protective case. Sound is pretty decent.
Cons
  • Even though there doesn't appear to be any plastic there, the first week they smelled like Chinese plastic, presumably from a cover or even paint. For such a premium, leatherette ear pads are intolerable. They move off the head when worn outside because the headband is extremely flexible and lacks a defined setting.
