In the 1980's there were many nighttime television commercials touting the wonders of blue filter glasses, which were essentially amber sunglasses that blocked a significant amount of blue light . , allowing the wearer to see more detail in bright daylight. Fast forward 35 years and we have the same glasses but with a toned down amber tint that allows the wearer to avoid the eye strain that can come from spending a day in front of a computer screen. These rederest blue light blocking glasses are of decent quality (considering their $16 price tag) and look classy with a librarian style. They are light and comfortable to wear. They're amber in hue (that's how they block blue light), so everything has a yellowish tint to it. Some reviewers complain that they're too small for adults, but I don't understand that criticism at all - these are normal sized glasses by any measure. I can't yet say if they help with eye fatigue, but that wasn't the main reason I bought them; I wanted OTC glasses for looks and so far they serve my purpose well.
