Belts smell really bad

I do not usually write a review but I wanted to warn others. When I opened my package the smell of these belts about knocked me over. It is like a very strong musty smell. I don't know if the smell is from the manufacturer or the warehouse that stored them. I have placed these belts in a plastic bag with baking soda but it did nothing to help. Now I can not send them back and don't know what to do with them. I do like the belts and they fit beautifully but I can't wear them because people would think I don't bathe.

The fit is snug and does not stretch as much as expected.

Cons

The overall look is perfect. Beware, they have a chemical smell that last days!
